Cox scores for England
WORCESTER Warriors back-row ace Matt Cox was on the scoresheet as England Under 20s set up an IRB Junior World Championship showdown with Australia.
The Red Rose youngsters routed Canada 60-18, while Australia saw off Fiji.
Now the two old enemies meet in pool C' on Saturday at Rodney Parade in Newport (2.30pm) with a place in the semi-finals at stake.
Against Canada, England ran in nine tries, seven of them in the first-half, including Sixways academy product Cox's effort.
England were outscored in the second-half for the second game in a row but coach Nigel Redman and captain Hugo Ellis declared themselves satisfied with the performance and the position it puts their side in.
"It was a second win for us, which is important, and we played some top stuff again in the first-half," said Ellis.
"You'd expect any southern hemisphere side to be strong and we know Australia have got a lot of experienced players who've played Super 14."
